Some of my oldest memories are watching my mom surf the OB pier, running around Newport barefoot as a little bad neighbor, tearing up the streets. Ryan O’Mara and I sat up writing the original version of this on an acoustic guitar, a notepad, and our memories written down of what this amazing town means to uz. Homie Takashi from Japan threw down on Cello. Also, when we were recording this song, we used 3 beer bottles to bring out harmonies. We drank until each bottle carried the correct notes of this song when you blew into it. Can you hear where? - Jay
